| I've decided to build another 450 size heli and wanted to get some people's opinion. I can either get the Beam, or build a t rex from spare parts and upgrade the head and tail. I used to have a t rex with a Dragonus head and tail and it was the smoothest flying 450 that I had flown. I really liked the adjustable mix on the Dragonus head.
So my question is: How does the Beam fly? Looking at the head design, it's the same style head as a T rex. I'm looking for a smooth flying heli for sport flying with agility for when I want to do 3D. I was also looking at the Kasama head that would be another possible upgrade for the T rex should I go that route. I think the Kasama has adjustable mix rates as well.
I know this is the Beam section and people are most likely going to be biased, but if anyone can shed some helpful light on this subject, I would appreciate it. |
