Safety - RC Helis are not toys > Honeybee King 2 can be dangerous too

I under estimated the damage a little heli like the HBK2 can do.

I was doing some testing in a small room but not even getting light on the skids when it glitched and went full throttle all by itself.

Blades hit me in the forhead and left a 6 inche gash. Probably should have gotten stitches. No more close quarters for me.

I'll see if I can get a pic tonight for you blood mongers.

BTW, is 72MHz exceptionally prone to interference? Specifically 72.210.

I get some really weird glitches with it.

that sucks man...

hope it heals up well for you. You should treat all of these things like a meat slicer waiting to chop you up which I'm sure you now know.

Those cheap fm systems that come with many rtf heli's seem to be way more susceptible to glitching than a quality fm system. Everything I have ever owned with a 4n1 or 3n1 receiver/esc/gyro on one board combo has seemed to glitch a whole lot more than a properly setup fm system using seperate components.

I've got Venom 3DXL blades on it which are probably too big and why I can't get the tail in line. They are woodies but they pack a wollup. If I wasn't wearing safety glasses, well.

What is the length of the Venom XL blades? I had a set of Shoguns that are foam but flex a little more.
Maybe build a lithoplate shield and elastic guard for the forehead.
