Which model DX7 would I need to get so that I can use the servo's with in a X-cell 60 carbon fiber? Would it be the SPM2712 model? Please let me know because I wanted to take advantage of the extra receiver deal before the end of the month. Thanks!

None of them. The servos that come with the DX7 are not recommended for nitro helis above a .30 size. THEY WILL FAIL

Tech Notes
The DS821 servo is a powerful, accurate sport digital servo recommended for RC airplane applications up to 1.20-size. For helicopters, the DS821 operates best with 30-size glow models, and up to 50-size electric. Loads and vibration in larger models may cause premature failure of the servo resulting in damage or injury to property and persons.

Important: Do not use liquid thread lock with the DS821 servo!

Do not use any form of liquid thread lock to secure the servo arm screw to the output shaft of the DS821 servo. Chemicals in these liquids react with the polycarbonate gear set causing the plastic to become brittle, fracturing the final output gear

The older I get, the shorter my attention....... Oh look. A shiny penny..

So the SPM2712 with servo's would work with a 450 size heli but what about the SPM2722 model and servo's? What would the S285 servo's be used for or work with? Thanks!

the SPM 2722 servos (The DS285) will work with the 450 size helis. The 2712 has the full-size servos (The DS821)....

Get the radio without servos and get some decent servos, a 60 size heli needs good equipment. For sport flying 9252's for harder flying 9452s or 8717s

http://www.espritmodels.com sells it in many different configurations, give them a call, Bobby is the heli guy there he will give you good advice

Yes, you can. You need only to buy a tx (Or module) and receiver.
