Since Im new at these addiction I take on consideration all you guys advice and recomendations! So here is the new one. Like I told you guys before I have a modified Wakera 4, ans even not and expert but always looking to improve, Under guys like you self advise my "step up heli" should be a trex or an blade 400.
I came acroos a Blade 400 with out transmiter or receiver, but sevos and gyro(stock ones )and alot of spare parts(the heli has the upgrade motor on it already) as of now for less than $100. to which I know it will go up, but if by any chance it stays really cheap (comparing it to the real price) It will be worth geting it? I have 55s servos for it, but how much will be gettinig the transmiter and receiver, and batteries? It will be the same that getting a brand new one? Is it poss to find decent used radio and receiver for it?

If you can get it with servo's and electronics for 100 bucks I'd say go for it. That's a good buy. The tx and rx will cost you about 150 - 200. That's the dx6i and ar6200e that it comes with stock. Which in my opinion are a good setup. Good luck.

No prob. You can buy any transmitter that is a 6 channel and no you're not limited to the stock dx6i. You can use whatever you want. If the heli comes with a reciever I'd buy a transmitter that you could bind to the existing reciever. That way you'll save at least $50 bucks. Anyways, if I was you I'd definately buy the heli for that price. Provided it is in decent condition and overall complete. Take it to the hobby store and ask the guy to make a list of what you need. Take that list home and price it out on ebay, compare that to the hobbystore price. By the time you spend 200 bucks you should be flying.

BLADE 400!!

Once again thanks Speed! The heli seem to be on good condition, just the lack of a few electronics(batery, receiver and transmiter) that he is keeping to use on his other helis, because he is moving on to biger ones and has no intentions on flying these size any longer but the guy will is trowing a bunch of spare parts. SO lets see what hapens. If not my plan B will be to buy a biger one too! like a trex 500 or even 600 kit and star builsing, but I will like to get something that I can start flying(atempting) sonn and not be a ornanment for while! Plus seem to be a good deal due to the price and extra parts. (no bling just spares, which is a good) But lets see what happens.

Be very careful of buying used Blade 400...they are made of plastic = many broken parts easily....

You can buy new for $400 or less... with battery, radio, gyro, and WARRENTY.

It's OK....It's not your fault !!!

That's true. There could be alot of broken stuff in disguise. Basically if your'e "in the know" about where to shop and what you need there is the potential to get in the air with a Blade 400 and save your self a hundred or maybe even 200 bucks. In the heli world that's not a lot of money but in real life, that's 25-50% of your startup cost. No laughing matter. The best part about buying a B400 is because it comes with such a decent fully featured radio for the price. Either way let us know how it works out.

PS. I would stay away from anything that's not pre built while you're a beginner. You're going to have a hard enough time setting up something that already came "set up". Everyone I've known that started with a kit gave up eventually and went to an arf. Some even quit heli's completely.

I'm with Dave M on this one.

I'd probably skip the deal and go for one that is already setup with everything you need. Sounds a little fishy....like one of those deals where the seller is all too happy to unload some unwanted bird.

If you had more experience and could easily spot problems or knew what you were getting into, I'd probably say you could pick up a cheap bird that way but in all honesty, you can buy a mini titan or trex for 175-200 bare bones (motor and esc included) in the same condition and you would end up with a better flying heli.

And live without walking distance of the lhs but their pices are outrageus! I just buy there if I want it right away! But either way let me know what yu guys think! nd Thanks again!!

If I had a 100 bucks right now I'd certianly buy it. I'd guess it's gonna sell for over $150 by the time the biddings done.
