Its all good that we see models come out fairly fast but I have become less impressed with Phoenix as I go. The models feel extremely locked in. Even watching a dailed in heli being flown by the likes of Szabo you can see some instability in the heli. On Phoenix the manuevers I can do are extremely locked in, like tic tocs for example. Way to easy to maintain altitude on the Sim and to hold still. The stability dial does not give the correct effect so somehting needs to be done from the programming end.

When I flew the Vibe 50 on Phoenix it was not much like the Vibe I have flown. I noticed it was very much like the Raptor 50 in Phoenix and then looking at the numbers in the settings, it bacially is the Raptor 50.

Some of you may be impressed with the quick model releases but Im more for concentrating on overall realism rather than a new skin that performs exactly like any other heli in the Sim

The numbers you see in the settings will mostly be similiar as each model is likely designed individually and has a different base setting to start. Phoenix will then zero/set the numbers to what we expect to see for that model.

If you have a play around with some of the weather settings turbulence/randomness + reduce the hovering stability a little and possibly even the adjust the Main rotor lift settings IMHO you can get pretty close.

Sometimes I find just upping the Sim speed by around 10% helps as gravity to me seems a little low overall. On saying that my initial thoughts on the Vibe 50 are it seems more realistic in this respect to gravity.

I'm very happy overall

I left my laptop at work so I will be only able to test it tomorrow but even if it isn't perfect, at least I don't have to look at the ugly face of some "other" heli anymore hehehehe

Thumbs UP!!!!

Downloaded it and I find it a little more twitchy then the real thing. I will not be flying the trex 600 any more on the sim.

Love the vibe
