I'm having an issue with my 400. When I connect the battery pack to the ESC the motor goes "beep, beep....beep, beep" and on and on until I disconnect the battery pack. I checked the manual but can find anything on what the beeps stand for. What's going on? Thanks!

Figured it out!

Well it looks like I had my pitch and throttle curves all messed up. The radio had all the setting wiped out and I entered the default settings but set up the curves wrong. Lucky enough I had another new 400 with the DX6i radio that I just mirrored the setting on the radio that was messed up. After enterring all the setting correctly the ESC armed correctly and I was able to complete the setup after installing new servo's. Need to take some time to read the DX6i manual in more detail and learn all the functions of the radio. Thanks for the help!

Dx6i ESC programing

Looking on instructions to program my Align ESC with my DX6i. I have watched the video to do the set up with a Futaba, but when I power up in full stick to get into the program mode, it stays in regular mode. How do I get to program mode?

It would appear from what you are saying, that your throttle sense is reversed. Check your curve is linear, 0 25 50 75 100, then with the throttle at the low stick point power up your esc and see if goes into normal or program mode. If it goes into program mode you have your throttle sense reversed. If so go to servo reverse and reverse the throttle sense. Also make sure you have the align esc plugged into the throttle channel on your receiver and not into batt/bind slot, an easy mistake dont ask me how I know
