I must say I am impressed by both the design and the quality of the manual.
I flew my new Three-Dee yesterday, taking off from grass and therefore avoiding any vibration problems as encountered by Stephen.
Starting the engine, on first try, no actually second, on the first one the starter could not turn the OS91, I had to unscrew slightly the plug.

Idle was perfectly tuned, no adjustment required.
Taking off, no trim adjustments.
Ok a little on the fast side with 1700 rpm
First adjustment to decrease the speed to 1500 rpm, then to check the idle-up which were all too fast.

Noise, or more precisely absence of noise is amaising, I can recognize the one from the gear spinning the A/C belt.

Very stable, despite a strong 50km/h wind, very responsive at 1500rpm
I can't wait this week-end to start flipping it.

What is truely amaising is the "predictability". Build it exactly as advised in its documentation, and it flies as expected without even a trim adjustment.
Anyone wants to buy a Millenium 2, OS61 with MP1, Webra 61 with Weston Genesis pipe, numerous spare parts, before it gets too dusty ?

With a total of now 2 gallons , the engine is easy to start.
I use 12% of Micromotul and 0% of nitro with an Enya 4.
Idleup 1 is set at 1550 rpm and the helicopter was just tested today at 82dB (Hovering, 3m sideway, downwind) a very quiet helicopter.
It is even quieter at 1350 rpm, but at 1550 it flies fast, very fast.
Actually the speed is a bit impressive and it seems not easy to slow down. It is not too easy to visualise properly, I try to improve with some yellow stickers.
I guess I need to get used to it, it will take more gallons.

Actually, it is a wrong impression given by the picture. Main blades tips are still 4cm away from the AC blades.

More than enough.
