Is the crash cost of a CCPM 50 evo less than a standard mechanical cpm evo, aside from blades and such, are there less mechanics to replace because there are less linkages and rods?

I FIND THE DENSITY OF THE AIR CHANGES SIGNIFICANTLY BELOW 0 ALTITUDE.

i will put my opinion foreward, i think their crash pricing would vary on the crash, but the HPM would be less in parts count...but guys that have switched/converted to SWM have not looked back

!boo!

Here's my thinking on this. I have owned HPM, now have SWM. I just got an SWM conversion for my X-Spec also, can't wait to try that out! Even if it cost twice as much to repair, IT WOULD BE WORTH IT!!! But I don't really think it makes a diff. I've put my HPM setup in the dirt very hard and it's hit or miss if you break stuff that high up under the canopy. Can't imagine the SWM costing any more, the whole conversion for an Evo50 is only $80 I think.

IT JUST LOOKS SO CLEAN!!!

CCPM has less parts, no?

Same amount of linkages too.

I'm thinking i'll buy the ccpm changeover kit and wait till my next unfortunate collision with the ground. from what you guys are saying, its pretty much a win win going to eccpm. One more question, with the stock setup (even set up properly), there seems to be a lot more instantaneous elevator than aileron, does the ccpm kit correct this?

Yes the eccpm will help, as long as your servos are matched.
One of my servos started to go weak on my eccpm, so instead of replacing the servo I bought the CSM CL1(cyclock) system. The CL1 allows you adjust your servo travels, so they will always match.

Hope this helps

CCPM normally have less parts but for ccpm to work on the sceadu and freya frames it has about the same amout of parts as the HPM if not more.
