| After a hour or so trying to put these clips on, I managed to figure this out. Now some parts are removed for clarity.
First I found a two by four and a small washer with a hole a little bit bigger than the pin.
Then I placed the clip flat on the washer.
Next I carefully held the pin in place on top of the clip and washer.
Then, with a small hammer I hit the pin down.
And this is what it look like after.
I repeated the process to the other side as well. Now I did these renderings because I figured it would help someone out. I did not see any instructions in the manual on how to do this. I lost three clips and broke a set of pliers before I tried this method.
