| the whole tail seperated from the boom the other day, it was just getting light on the skids, so no damage to anything except the boom, my question is, after a lenghty tube extracting session, i removed the two set screws from the shaft end piece, and it won't come off without damage, do i have to cut the end off and dig out the remaining piece of shaft and then also cut the same lenghth, looks like about 1 inch off the new boom, or is there a magical way to insert the tube into a boom while keeping the bearings in place? thank you for any wisdom you could throw my way |
