I recently purchased a Carbsmart. the following is how I mounted it on my Stratus. So far it functions as advertised. If it continues I will purchase one for all my machines.

It is very easy to set up.

My motor was broken in and set up very well to start with. The flying weather just arrived in Chicago. It was in the mid 60's yesterday. I purposely did not richen the needle valve to see if the carbsmart would perform as advertise.

The carbsmart with a governor makes the motor perform very well.

I just ordered two more last night. However on my next setup I am going to try a micro servo.

Care must be taken when mounting the sensor. I used RTV rather than the epoxy to give it more vibration isolation.

Thanks for the info. What RTV did you use? I assume it is some sort of high temp right?

Yes. I coated the probe and placed a piece of wire on either side to create a dam. Then I filled the cavity with high temp silicone.

I haven't tried it yet, but here's mine with a micro servo (Futaba s3153). I just made a mount out of some extra cf pieces.
