Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > Stratus Build Question W/Regards to 0S91 Hyper Pumped

I assume someone has built a stratus with a os91 hyper/pumped engine. The question I have is are you suppose to use the hyper carbon plate with the fuel tubing attachment vs. the OS plate that comes with the kit? Also if so, it dosent appear the holes are lining up with the Base plate that allow the bolts to go through the engine provided plate into the engine to lock it down. Suggestions/comments?

Is there a special base plate made yet for the os hyper pumped? If so anyone have the part #?

I'll try to post a picture later, but I just built a BW Stratus with the OS Hyper with the pump. My kit was the "OS 8.18 version", and all I did is I unscrewed the pump from the bottom of the engine, then mounted the engine directly on the base plate from the kit (the same way that you would mount and engine with no pump), then I re-mounted the pump on the bottom of the base plate. The only issue is, this creates about 2 to 3mm more space between the pump and the engine, so I had to make a slightly longer piece of fuel tubing to go between the engine base plate and the pump.

Please, I would like to see this picture. I realized that the kit i got was the YS 8:18 gearing not the OS, that is what threw me off, I guess I will have to order another plate that the holes are drrlled for the OS engine, from reading the instructions it sounded like it included both, but this does not appear to be the case. I would like to see pictures though to see the height/clearance of the plate below vs. on top, I was assuming that it would of been on top?

I appreciate it, got your message on that site. The picture helped alot and from the research I did, found out I had the YS base plate vs. the OS plate and ordered one today. The picture did help out on a few other questions though, thanks again!
