I have only flown nitro, I dont fly very well, I'm not interested in 3D or any form of Bling.
I would like a small electric, which I want to build, which is solid in performance and basic ability, and I can take with me easily when I'm away from home to practise basic flying.
The only requirement is that it be as stable as posible in wind, as where I spend most of my time is more often than not at least a little windy.
The kit should come with a more than adequate motor and esc.

I have a T-Rex 450SA and a 450SE V1. I'm very satisfied with both. I'm considering a TT Mini Titan as my next purchase. The reviews of them are good, the internet chatter is generally positive, and they are mechanically interesting. The TP 450, if available would also seem to be an interesting heli.

In well over a year of flying, I've only replaced the main gear and the head dampers on my SE. My SA has been flawless to date.

Whilst I've never been a Raptor fan, I feel the mini Titan has the edge.

ive ahd about all the micro helis out there and the mini titan is what you after. all the trex kits are about bling and while they are top notch the mini titan is just as good and reliable but cheaper.

The beam is also an excellent choice. Prices are great, on spare too, and what could look like bling is not in fact. It gives you precision in your flight and hovering. Your input are directly replicated to the heli since there is no play in it.

Look real sharp too and it will serve you good as your flight progress.

This is a great heli if you already have a tx.

I thought I'd heard somewhere that it was a bit twitchy in the hover?
If so, maybe not a good choice for a windy location?
