Got tired of problems with radio interference and glitching so I bought one this morning. My only concern is antenna placement on my 450 and Hawk Pro. I have read a lot of threads about this and most of them state there will always be a "blind" spot at certain orientations, this concerns me, I wonder if companies will address this in the future?

I've been flying with one for 5 weeks, works great. The only negative side is that you don't have the Throttle and pitch curves graphs.

I wish I could fly 24/7

Point the two antennas so they are 90 degrees to each other. I have one on the left side of the heli pointing 45 degrees up, and one on the right side pointing 45 degrees down. You will never have a "blind spot." Point the transmitter antenna toward the ground about 45 degrees while flying, so the heli always sees the side of the transmitter antenna (never the tip).

You will love the 7C. As I’ve recommended throughout other threads, replace that stock NiCd transmitter battery rated at 600mah, with Horizon Hobbies 2500mah Hydride. Solder your old leads to it keeping in mind the polarity. I virtually can fly all day between charges. If you decide to do so, a separate hydride charger is required with peak detection and I recommend that you remove it from the transmitter during charges over 1 AMP to avoid damaging your transmitter. Also, check out my gallery for visual on my setup for the placement of the antennas with the 90-degree rule in effect to avoid your concern for blind spots on your hawk. Also, it is recommended to angle the transmitter antenna in such a way that its not pointing directly at the model. Both methods together will lower your chances tremendously.

Keep flying
