I had clutch problems with my 46 for a while, but when i installed a coke can liner with the stock liner, the gap was perfect and the clutch was fine!

. Kinda wierd to be finishing an auto that you thought you were going to fly out of. As soon as it touched the ground, the clutch grabbed and I took off again. I had flown that thing to death and replaced several parts due to wear. I replaced the clutch bell and liner. But I used the JR liner as per Heliproz advice instead of the stock liner this time. I have yet to see any wear on the JR liner. The stock liner sprayed my heli with black powder as it wore down. I replaced the clutch with another stock clutch. I am very careful with the distance and use one wrap of electrical tape for my spacing. The clutch should not be allowed to spring out anymore than it needs to or you will put excessive wear on it and fatigue the metal. After almost a year of solid flying, I spent about $60 to keep the heli in flying condition for the rest of the year and the next.
