| Patriot, The first issue I ran into after I finished my first Pantera, was how I was going to get a second one. I am in my third season. I started with a Nexus years ago, then got out of heli's. Fear Factor I guess. Anyways, when I came back, I went through 3 Raptors and a Hawk Pro before I said, there just has to be something better. After building, owning and flying a Pantera, I would not touch anything else. And if I do decide to go bigger, I can do that with what I have. The Pantera is easy to maintain, easy to setup, and when you hear "us" say it flies like it is on rails, that is exactly what we mean. It is agile and agressive and gets it done! I don't think anyone is saying it is the best heli on the market, although for me it is. But I don't think it can be beat in it's class and it is money well spent. All of that and it is durable too!
I suppose one of my favorite points of the machine is that unlike some other heli's, I don't need to buy any upgrades to get great performance. Huge bonus! The bearings, clutch, flybar and other excellent points to the Pantera speak for themselves I should think. If you will just take some time and research the Pantera and compare what you see and read, I am sure you will agree. Forget popularity, make your own decision.
And if that isn't enough, scroll through the Audacity forum. Look for the complaints/problems. Now go through all of the others and check those out. You know, over a year ago I placed a call to TT, and emailed them, and to this day, never heard a word. When I called Audacity, (on a simple problem that I totally screwed up) John answered the phone, nuff said there. You will see for yourself that John is a person who cares about his heli's and his customers and he listens.
Good luck
