i'm an italian guy, i want to buy a stratus but i'm not convinced about the engine.
ys or os??
whatb os and what ys???
does the ys long stroke works with the os gear ratio stratus?'
i'm confused

Yes - the OS91 and the YS91 Long stroke, both runs good on the OS gearing 8.18:1

PS: I'm running the OS91SZ, with OMI Big Bore carburator, Kline, Viperhead and hatori 939 in both my stratusses.

I am running the YS-SR and I love it. Works great with the 8.18:1 ratio.

Hi,

I have a YS91 ST-4 in my stratus with a gear ratio of 8.18 and it works fine. I chose my engine based on what experience everyone else at my club had had previously. Approximately 8 of 10 guys i fly with run YS's so that made my decision fairly easy!
