| Honestly man, if you're going to gear it low, I think you'll be ok with that Scorpion -6, but if you're looking to gear up a bit and get crazy headspeed, I'd serious consider that 55amp Commander.
I just ruined my Mini Titan's stock ACE 40 amp ESC somehow last weekend with a Scorpion -8. It didn't even fizzle or pop. I set the motor timing to auto and turned on the governor after I set a new Jazz with Governor in my Logo 500. Tached normal speed governed at 2750, was happy, turned it off, and it never worked again. It was on carpet when I did this so maybe static?
I wanted to replace it with a Jazz 40 but scored a CC45 for 50 bucks, so I'm going to with that for now.
If I had the dosh, I'd put the Jazz in, no question. At 160 bucks or so new, it's a luxury item. The CC45 is just fine.
As for ease of setup? Can't beat the Jazz, man. Jumper it, set endpoints, put it in heli mode, put it in lipo mode, set your govern setting in your throttle curve section on your radio and go.
I have no knowledge of the Scorpion ESCs, but I've read of people blowing their 45's with the Scorpion -6.
