| Too bad about the damage..... a bent frame is not good.... Did you see physical damage to the box before you opened it ??
|
the frame damage doesnt seem that bad nor critical, its the lower rear part (left side)of the frame, at the bottom where the aluminium L part and skid support meet, it is slightly bent which compress the skid support alittle in the center. i will try to fix it or just buy a new frame part if thats posible
the box wasnt damaged, the frame as probly been damaged by the previous owner when he lost his tail mid flight

| I would not "trust" it, however, until you have run AT LEAST 3 full charge to discharge cycles through it AND you get close to the rated capacity
|
right, i will cycle the pack a few times

| By the way, a 5 cell pack of the same capacity will give you more voltage (not needed) but most likely less flying time.... I would stick with the 4 cell.

i was thinking about 6v for the servos "punch", since i want eventualy do 3d stuff not that im ready nor in hurry to do 3d, but i though on 6v the little more punch the servos will have the better the heli will respond

| I would VERY STRONGLY recommend that you get with someone who is experienced with nitros to help you set it up and in flying "trim" for you before you get too far.....
|
yea.. i will be a member of my local club this summer.. i will surely find some experienced guys that can help me out

| I switched to the 4200 mAh sub c packs and I can fly at least 8-10 flights before I need to switch them out. I know they weigh more but for me the extra weight is worth it thanks to the extended flying time and piece of mind.
|
i though about a sub-c pack, the previous owner used some dead weight under the battery pack to balance the heli, i guess the sub-c will give a better balance
Thanks guys pics comming soon |
