Flybarless Rotor Head Systems > Problem with v-stabi tail is "flimsy"

I running a vstabi system on my T-Rex 600E. I am using Align 92mm tailblade, about 12mm servo horn on my 9251 servo. I have 95% gain and the tail is not holding very well.

I do not loose it totaly, but it it's not stopping very fast and the tail "wagging". Not normal to high gain tail wagging, more, servo to slow.

Should I increase the blade leght or increse the leght of servo arm?

Hi,

You can check the pitch tork compensation, and the rudder limit.

Best regards

Pitch torque compensation is at 25 and limit is 60.

I have not played with the vbar software but run 14/16mm servo arm so the servo output is faster and you can run a lower gain.

Original T-rex hub or thrust bearing upgrade?

I never to this date had a original T-rex hub that has been good
Even if it worked with a previous gyro, it could have been "luck"

All of them in my case was showing as sloppy, slow wagging tail.

Im running QuickUK on mine now, never had an issue since.

I have the trust bearing upgrade. I put on some longer tailblade and that solved the problem!
