well....

Ya know - the big bad Government LOVES to regulate things and tell you how to live. We slip below the radar because we try and be responsible (for the most part). I'm sorry to say it, but somebody gets decapitated and someone else gets it on film, and some pissant Senator will get a hair and the next thing you know, we've got all kinds of Federal regulations coming our way (safety goggles, hardhats, licenses, etc.). I mean, the stunt is cool and all, but I don't think it's worth the risk for the righteuos government to crawl up in our business (thats why I quit racing dirtbikes - goverment shutting down all of our riding areas).

Per Aligns policy, Align helicopters will not hurt when it hits you, they literally just bounce off. If it does happen to inflict a little damage, the doctor bills from when a Align heli hits you are at rock bottom prices. I think a gash wound repair is like $15 to fix when hit by a Align, they truly are bargain in every aspect!

I never see anyone complaining about real helicopters flying over populated areas everyday. Suppose one went down and hit the mall. These model helis are way better quality than some of you make them out to be. Anyone own a weed eater/lawnmower? These things are way more dangerous than a model helicopter. Ever time some one on here sees a guy flying in his yard the safety police come out and start in. My neighbors lawn mower threw a rock through my front door and shattered the glass. Glad my boy wasn't standing there!

If it doesn't fly sell it!

Yeah, people are just too sensitive! Let's set up a (relatively) low risk activity by firing up the weed-eater with a bunch of people standing really close, then turn on multiple TV cameras so footage of any mishap can be sent around the world, and then fire up the Darwin Award battle cry "Hey, watch this!"

What could possibly go wrong?

hahaha

it's the tagline for a website (if memory serves me) "No Marriage.com"
It's a hilarious take on american women and the whole marriage game.
Some of it's a little bitter, but there's a ton of funny stuff and true stories on there and comparisons between American and foreign women/wives (of which I have firsthand experience).
"I've had bad luck with marriage. My first wife left me.....and my second one didn't". Stuff like that. Check it out....funny stuff!!

For some strange reason, people react differently when a bystander is hurt compared to a participant.

Hey, Those people in the video standing next to alan are participants. They asked him to do it. They know the danger.

Well, since driving my car is a risk to other peoples health I guess I will have to call in sick for the rest of my life. I dont want to hit anyone or have anyone hit me.

way i see it it was a 50/50. align done their part by making sure a top pilot was behind the radio and im sure they quadruple checked the helicopter for mechanical failure. im sure it had some good publicity behind it being shown in tv. at the same time it could have majorly backfired on them and caused everyone a lot of grief. im positive alan knew the risks whole heartedly and im positive he wouldnt have flown under those conditions unless he felt 100% confident in the act. we should be happy that we got some good advertisement which will mean more customers and more money in this nick of the woods. im not looking at it for aligns sake...im looking at it from the sake of the hobby. the more people we have in the hobby the more innovative things will come. also along with other benefits such as cheaper/better quality products.

No i havent flown before but I did stay at a holiday inn last night.
