Are you guys for real

People People lighten up!

The world is an all to serious place to live in as it is. Can't we find just a little humor in a person that claims to be 'only 18 yrs old', a firefighter, and still can't spell? If you can't find the humor and sarcasm in someone saying the reason they can't spell is because they are only 18 years old.....? Need I say more.

Maybe the real travesty here is not that we are poking fun at a person whom may or may not be telling a false story, but maybe we should be looking at the real problem...the apparent degradation of our education system.

As for my comment about Rkeith:
Rkeith, I am sorry if you thought I was poking fun at you about your picture. But man, that really was a good picture of you. I was totally serious.

gadgetdude,, I only questioned it because he said "" The guy was arrested and charged for asult by deadly weapon""

every day many people are hit by cars and the drivers are not arrested for assault, I didn't say he was not telling the truth geezzz,,,

so with that, how about photos with today's newspaper date in it with a Notary Stamp on it with his grandmother holding the newspaper..

wasp - read the fellows other interesting posts.

It reminds me of the guy on here last year, or year before, talking about his brothers death and then on and on and on and I thought this was a soap opera channel.

2 things are most likely truth here -

1) The gent has a vivid imagination and manifests itself in the need to present it with written verbiage to the public.

2) The gent has a pi$$ poor command of the King's english.

Anybody seen Bigfoot lately?

You know where I am going with this...

The guy has some incredible stories, but never, ever has pictures.

His friends Raptor 90 is struck out of the sky with a bolt of lightning. No pictures. I am not saying we need to see a picture with a bolt of lighting hitting the raptor 90 (although that would be really cool). But if this indeed did happen, don't you think you would eventually take a picture of it and post. Don't you think his friend who happens to fly a Raptor 90 has probably been on RunRyder and if this indeed happen would have posted the story himself?

As for the story of the Black Hawk helicopter going down outside his house. Well, we live in a world of modern technology with the vast ability to look up even the smallest of news stories. I did a search. I can't find any Black Hawk accident that even comes close to what he described. Or maybe he forgot to mention he was living in Iraq at the time Again, no pictures.

The story above, along with his post regarding his brother's friends Dad and son being in a plane crash. Very strange how he tells these stories. With the black hawk, he describes that when he ran up to the helicopter that he noticed no one was moving. He then mentions that he was surprised to find out that the pilot and crew survived because he did not see them move. Very strange details to discuss. Then with regard to the Father and son in the plane crash. He states that the father was killed and the son had two broken legs. Then he goes into this whole thing about how it would suck if you were the father and you just saw your son, whom just graduated from college, suffer injuries in a plane crash. Well, he forgot that he also said that the father died in the crash so why would you mention how the father must have felt? What???? How did the father feel? The father died.

I just love being home sick for the day and being able to waste so much time looking into the validity of this guys story.

Oh I forgot to mention, so they did not take pictures the day the he got stuck with the helicopter blade...well that was days ago. If I got struck with a helicopter I would be posting all kinds of pictures so I could get some sympathy. If you live to tell about it, that's bragging rights in my book.

Well I gotta go. I am in the middle of flying the Concorde from New York to Paris and I just flew over the Eiffel Tower (in fact I reached out and touched it) so I need to land it now because the pilots got sick when they ate the fish and the automatic pilot got a hole punctured in him so it is up to me to save these 4,678 people on board. Wish me luck!

If you are going to sue someone the FIRST thing you would do is take pictures...

Now, if he doesn't want to post them, then just say so...

I may not express this well but here goes.
Stories true or not, who cares. I am a very poor speller but most who know me consider me a fairly smart guy. Only one person who has posted Knows the truth, though many post like all the facts are on file at the Library of Congress. I have not been here for years or have 1000 gals of coolmax under my belt, but that does not mean I may not have something to contribute. I will say this: people here do seem to get pretty negitave pretty fast some times and to be honest, for me that takes away some of the enjoyment I get from spending time here.

You know, I dont know if this fellas stories are true or not but I'd rather give him the benifit of the doubt than post a tenth of the things that have been posted about him on this thread. If he gets enjoyment from posting a fish story, then whats that off my back? I dont disagree with calling a pig, a pig but why go so very far overboard? You know the old saying, "If you dont have something good to say then say nothing"? It may apply here. Tolerance is a good thing and Im not just talking about runout on your clutch bell.

The good ole times are now ,000132

Give it up Heliman 08.... I'm sure you’re a good guy, but come on, no way your stories are real. Just stop telling tall tales and I'm sure everyone will back off. There is no need to lie to us. You love the hobby, and just based on that fact, you are an accepted member of this community . No need for silly stories...

No offense intended here but is English your first language? You seriously need some English classes and a spell checker.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I've got a good buddy that likes to tell tall tales... They are real in his head, and you can't question the credibility... and you can never speak with anyone else who was witness either.
But he is still a cool, honest, guy.
