i have a walkera heli (i cant remember what model, ill try and find that out if its important) i bought as a first helicopter, kinda getting into the hobby. the point is, it worked well for a few months, then one day, the servos kept freaking out and going crazy (randomly twitching), same with the motor and tail rotor (huge power flux, and sometimes i cant turn it off without unplugging the battery), and i cant figure out whats going on. it keeps doing this every time i try and fly it. I havent been able to fly it for a month! if anyone has any ideas let me know, thanks!

The Walkera is famous for having terrible electronics. Change the radio electronics, that will stop the glitching. Then while youre at it, change the rest of the electronics. Then it might fly well, but maybe not...

Better yet, don't waste any more money on the Walkera...get a T-rex...

Blade 400 3D. Comes with a Spektrum DX-6i radio (which is quite nice and can be used with other helis/planes) and will fly quite good stock. Worlds better than that walkera. Only thing is some people replace the servos for better ones like Hitec HS65HBs. You could wait until the stock ones are broken from crashes though if you are low on money. He's a great guy and has helped me a lot. I get almost all of my stuff from them (it's one of my LHS). You might be able to find it a couple bucks cheaper somewhere else (or maybe not) but for the level of service and expertise they give you it's well worth $5-$10 extra trust me. The other place to look is www.ka-planes.com these guys are really nice and have some inexpensive helis. If all this is out of your price range I have an almost new Falcon 3D RTF with lots of extra parts and an upgraded metal head I'd get rid of pretty cheap. Just PM me if your interested. Blade 400 might be a good alternative...or get a HBK2 barebones and build it the way you like...

If the servos go mad it could be the walkera ESC (if walkera 36 or 60) i had a few walkera 30A brushless ESC fail and it made all the servos go crazy

Stop!

Before you try anything else try unplugging one servo and then try it. If that doesn't stop the glitch then unplug the next servo and then check. Go through all of the servos one at a time like that to see if you can isolate the bad one. If unplugging a servo stops the problem then that servo is bad.
High Tech HS 55s are a popular replacement for this heli.
