| I have touched the ground very lightly with the tailrotor three times. The result was three broken bushings in the tail pitch slide. I believe that the bushing should be assembled with the nut on the hub side of the pitch slide. Closest to the boom. If you touch the ground the forces will be transferred to the busshing where it is weakest. The threaded end. It is a breaking force. If you take it apart and install the bushing the other way, the force will be pulling instead. This will make the bushing less likely to break. Since the bushing is no sparepart (you have to buy a complete tail pitch slide) it gets a bit expensive.
