Take your time building it and have fun. Remember to run it very rich during break in, about a gallon or two. Congrats on the purchase. Look me up during May Day and I can have a look over it if you want.

Break in Oil/Fuel

What kind of break in oil due you guys recommend and what Grade fuel? During the break in process?

A lot of people use ashless (lawnboy) for the first gallon with regular fuel (87). You might also want to check out the Gasser section.

I went the regular 87 octane with Blue Marble 2 stroke oil. 6oz/gal to start then 5 oz/gal after break-in. There certainly are some other methods that can stir some controversy. Keep it simple and follow the recommendations of Bergen. They (Bergen) recommend things because they work. Good luck with the build. You'll like the end product!
