Gee Alex haven't you heard of the the new Futaba 72mhz spread spektrum all in one super duper TX? And 821's would have also been my first choice for a 90
But yes this does look a bit shady.

I saw the same add, and posted about it in the raptor section...I even e-mailed the seller, saying that the TX6A futaba radio will not work with that receiver....he replied back, saying "yes it does work with that radio, it has been tested, thank you very much"....HMMMMMMM???? so I e-mailed him back sticking to my guns, telling him I run that same receiver in 3 of my helis, and have actually owned that transmitter before....and I got no responce back....OH WELL???

That looks like a Manny Lalo scam. Not saying its him, but thats how he sets up heli's for a quick buck on ebay. Cheap servos, and radio just to make a RTF heli. Surprised it even has a 611 on it!

wow im working right near this place im driveing to sparrows point md which is a 1.5 hr drive for me but its just a couple of minutes from there what a ripoff man how can you get a spectrum reciever work with a fm airplane radio

sombody with a ebay account needs to report this item because either this is true and some new person will get killed using a radio that doesnt work with spektrum reciever or sombody is going to get scammed out of alot of money

I dont think there is much that we can do with only 11 hrs left, although there was something on here a while back where everyone kept bidding it up until it was well over a million and the item just ended. cause if you bid it that high and win then just dont pay, you get a "no pay" strike on your account and he is left with paying the ebay percentage of the winning price. any percentage of a million is more than this guy will want to pay I'm sure.

it looks like he runs a pawn business and sells stuff from his shop on ebay, looking at his feedback it would be hard to think he is trying to rip someone, i just sent his a friendly note mentioning that the radio and the reciever are not compatable, im assuming he isnt a heli flyer and just a pawn shop guy trying to make a living...

you will still have to have someone else bid against you to get it that high, and I would love to do it but I already have 1 strike on my account, I gave best offer to someone and they have 48hrs to respond and didnt so I purchased product elsewhere and 4 days later I got hit with a no pay any argument went unheard. your allowed 3 strike then account is canceled and I would prefer not to take the chance of having 2 in 2 months. but there is bound to be someone else on here that would love to help.

Then obviously he has tried it himself and it works just fine

I also tried e-mailing told him that his FM tx won't work with a 2.4ghz rx and those ds821 are only good upto a 30 size machine.
No answer

Here's what I sent to him:

Are you aware that the radio is not compatable with the receiver? Therefore this heli is not RTF and you are just going to rip someone off, not to mention get them hurt! Please adjust your add accordingly.

Not harsh, but hopefully if enough folks notice, he will take it down, change the TX or adjust the price down to something reasonable, like $200!

they used to show winning bidder but they have changed that now so that no one but the buyer can see who they are.
