Most here use the Hitec Mg65, I think HB, you want the metal gears. Gyro 401 with a 9650 servo. Of course motor, esc and battery. Flybars, main gears, feathering shafts, landing gear, tail belt, charger, balancer, ah....it goes on and on.

The good ole times are now ,000132

i use the same setup as above and I recomend thunderpower v2 batteries they are alot stronger than the prolites and well worth the extra money.
keep your headspeed very high it is easier on batteries and motor and performs better as well.

Trex 450SE V2

Using DX-7 trans. stock 430xl motor stock align ESC pitch thro. and elev. dx-7 stock servos.. and a Futaba s9650 on the tail has a fast pulse to the tail like it's HUNTING Gy-401 gyro delay @ 0 and the limit is at about 25.. whats the deal i want the tail holding solid still.

You must have your limit at about 100 (you have to move the arm on the tail servo in).
After that then increase the gain, too much gain can also make it hunt
