OK turbine pros-

I am in the process of trying to get my head speed up to 1400, and have gone thru the parameters turb>Rot: and i am not seeing the increase in headspeed that i need.

Does anyone have a quick and accurate parameter sheet that could help out?

Other than that, she flies sluggish, and i need more head speed in order for the tail to be effective as well.

Thanks

It would really help if you told us what turbine and model you have.

Thanks for the PM-

Works great now, full tail authority, and no more sluggishness.

just make sure you are not exceeding the permaters of the blade grips with the size of blades you are using..

You dont say what hellie it is, i know the Vario plastic grips using certain sized blades are restricted to certain head speeds

Matt

Mine was using the Robbe head and plastic grips( HOTCAT) and for my size blades SAB 810mm the head speed was not to exceed 1200. so i set it to 1140.

my acrobatic however had metal blade grips and larger bolt, the head speed could be run up to 1700rpm, some have gone even higher.

I bought my Mother-in-law a chair for xmas, but she wouldn't plug it in

hiya-

i have the jetcopter sx, and the blades are 810's- it was sluggish around the 1283 rpm, not much of tail authority, so i upped it to 1400, smooth as silk.
the turbine rpm is at 103,000rpm.

is there a standard rpm chart for the various blade length/weights?
