I just finished my Vibe 50. I have a battery, regulator, 601 control amp, GV-1 control box, and receiver. I'm struggling with the layout. I have the reg underneath the platform. Are you mounting stuff on the side frames?

I managed to stuff everything on and below the radio tray. The only thing that is on the frame is the carbsmart and reg.

My layout:

Below: Switchglow
Above: battery and rx
right side: multigov
top over the servo: regulator (now on top left frame and replaced by smartfly)

Tony

PS - I also changed the antenna layout from the 1st pic to the second - it was hitting the canopy

PS2 - I also dumped the header tank and the control link between the tail servo and lever is now carbon rod

I gotta agree with ForrestGump. No way i'd trust that 2in1 with the 8717's.

I do like the way you painted the canopy.

Thanks everyone. I got it laid out last night. I had to strap the 601 and GV-1 boxes on the side of the battery and receiver. It fits and the canopy doesn't rub. Some final setup and I'm ready to go. If it wasn't for 30 mph winds and 36F, I'd be out today

I have the same setup on my 600N with no issues, the 2in 1 can handle up to 6Amps continues, I couldn't find an actual specs on the amperage draw for the 8717's but based on what i read in other posts is about 5Amps combined amps.
