bellecrank, thought I'd just bump this thread with pics of the new paint job. Hope you guys like it.
Sorry about the photo quality. The colors are far more vibrant in real life, and the clear came out like glass. You can see the fluorescent orange/yellow a mile away.
I've been running a TPX 5000 6S pack on the TOP radio tray and as you can see the electronics are mounted underneath. The canopy just barely fits over the battery but the CG is significantly higher(better 3D performance) and the heli balances perfectly overall. I've pretty much got this machine dialed in perfect now, I'll get a much better vid with the canopy on in the near future.
