I was interested in the Solid G for my 450's but it seemed a little big. The MiniG will be good to try out. I'm excited to see this Rave heli in person as well...

The thing I hope and pray to see someday, would be 550MM Radix Blades.

Please? Pretty please? God I love Radix blades, but I need some for my Logo! 560 StickBangers would be UBER!

well wish i could see the video but every time i have to watch a windows media veiwer it says...Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located on the Internet, connect to the Internet. If the file is located on a removable storage card, insert the storage card. what the hell is going on with this computer this thing cant be harder to work then a heli can it???

I simply refuse to tippy toe through life just to safely arrive at death.

Have you tried downloading the file by right clicking a save as? Try that and if that doesnt work make sure you have the latest version of wmv.

Guys,

I was just looking over the posts again and noticed I missed a question about the bearings in the kit.

We are using good quality bearings. They are not the most expensive you can find (that would push the kit price out of reach) but they are good bearings. We tried bearings from the most expensive to the cheapest. And man are there some cheap (as in low cost and bad) bearings out there. And we settled on medium cost bearings that hold up very well in flight. I also used fairly large bearings in all the important locations like the main shaft, blades grips, tail grips, etc.. So they hold up well and have respectable replacement cost.

the shogun was a pos from day one, and you know Curtis put his TT design through a battle of hard core tests before release it to the market.

I agree with you on that but the shogun was the first 400 sized heli with a TT...

Guys,

The videos were flown using a 3S pack, at the time I was using older packs as I was waiting on a new shipment from Flightpower. So the RPM was down a bit from usual as was the flip rate and pop. With good, well treated packs, both 3s and 4s packs normally create more headspeed than shown on the videos.

All I know is that piro with the sudden stop was insane. I want one. My LHS is a CYE dealer, can I have them call and put one on order for me, or are you waiting for them to become available to take orders?

Can you tell us about your setup?

servos?
ESC?
BEC?
What's the main tooth count?
Are those standard size Trex 450 balls and links?
What the flybar length and material?
What are the paddles made of?

Looks like my beloved Mini-Titan is going to find a new home.

Nice meeting you at the Tyler Funfly Curtis. Thanks for coming out.

Guys,

Servos- JR 285MG
Tail servo - 3400G
Esc and BEC - tried many different setups and honestly do not have one that I like best. The lightest I found is the Align 35X but I have had a few reliability issues. The Scorpion ESC worked well but is very big. Although I hear there may be a new one coming out. I am still looking around to find the setup I would recommend as the best.

Main gear tooth - 177 teeth
Balls and links - basically the same as the T-rex
Pushrods - slightly larger than most 450 size helis
Flybar - pretty bad to say, but off the top of my head I cannot remember the length.
Paddles - molded plastic as are the tail blades in the kit. But we will soon have Radix carbon Stubz and Tail blades available for it.
