Itll be interesting to see how the furion compares price wise as I personally compare those more closely than anything else.

I Agree with you there. I have a pre-order I have been thinking of getting rid of. But I really want the heli. The price tag is a little steep for a 450 size heli.

Beam is flat out just as impressive as the Rave right now except that the Rave is kinda a 450.5 with the longer boom and the 350 blades.

the Furion is also very impressive but I think the Rave and the Beams head looks a little more high quality.

I personally prefer how the Rave looks over the Beam. That alone would make me choose it over other 450's. Not to mention that it has a torque tube. Being designed by CY is like icing on top of the cake

like i said before i got a chance to fly a Rave and it flys really nice compared to any other 450's i have flown, its by far way better and i flew it in gusty winds.

having a real torque tube ,bigger canopy and longer booom for 350's sold me on it as well....

you just cant beat a quaility heli over something cheapo.

Question:

How hard are the stock dampeners going to be? This is what I hated about the 450, the stock dampeners would be dead after one 3d flight. Also, will the spindle be 3mm or 4mm?

Personally, I am going for the Rave over the beam.

I'd say it will be #1 in technology as it is fantastic.

so prolly,

Rave
Beam
Trex
MT
and so on..

really still cant get over that price though..
was looking around the web today and you can get out the door 450SE kits with esc motor batt and blades for 440 brand new on ebay (and some other online hobby shops as well)

less if you take one without batts and blades etc.

and you can find Trex 500 kits NIB for this price as well.

I think the pricepoint coulda used more thought.
but oh well. still a technological marvel and prolly still worth every penny but it sure makes the choice between it and bigger helis much harder.

Hey Guys,
Here is the latest. The retail price is going to be right at 510.00 for the kit. Which will include the scorpion 6 next d branded motor, and a set of Radix 325mm blades.

Its good price for what we get, remember top of the top components and includes Scorpion, Radix blades, Torque Tube. Oh yes and a super Hot Design!

2 on my list

it know it comes with all that stuff.
but really scorpion retails sells for $55 and blades for about $45.
there's no radical items included to warrant almost 25% price increase over the competitors.
I do agree its hot looking and from my experience with CYE products great quality and top notch support.

Thanks
Orlando
