Guys,

Just thought I would share this, I wish I could claim it as my idea but I got it from mbfjr on a another thread.

I have had this KSJ stater for a few years and was using (16) NiMH cells on it. the packs needed replaced and I was never happy with the punch they had anyways, so I looked for an alternative. I really liked the Finer Edge adapte, but would have had to run out and get a Dynatron as well and since this KSJ starter is still in great shape I could not justify it!

A few weekends ago I was strolling through Lowes and noticed they had the B&D 18V flasklight on clearance for $10, I remembered the post from mbfjr on the other post so I picked it up. About an hour of cutting, futting and solering and below is the result. The pictures below show it equipped with a 24V pack from my drill, but I picked up a twin pack of 18V packs this morning at Lowes for $35 I plan on running it normally on the 18V packs, but might have a 24V pack on hand when extra persuasion is required.

I haven't actually tried it on the machine yet, but based on how it spins unloaded now compared to how it di before I am sure it is going to be a nice setup.
