Anybody using the lithium 11.1v duralite battery on their tx? Any problem encountered?

I’m curious about lithium batteries myself. The Transmitter battery that came with my 2.4ghz 7C didn’t do me any justice either so I upgraded to a 2500 mah hydride at Horizon Hobby and soldered my existing leads. I can go almost all day on a single charge. Might not be the answer your looking for but something to consider.

I have been using the Duralite Tx battery in my Futaba 9C for a couple of years without a problem. The only thing that is wrong is the low battery alarm does not work due to the lower cut off voltage of the Tx.

Oh **** ! this is going to be expensive?

No problem at all running 11.1V in a 8 cell (9.6V) Tx.
