I will be receiving my CSM Carbsmart this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has one installed on a Knight 50 Sport. I will be using a Hitec HS82MG servo. It replaced the HS81. Its the same exact size just supposedly improved. The engine is a YS50. I did order an extra sensor as well. If anyone already installed one and has pictures that would be great. Or any other install and setup tips.

Hi Phil,

I have one on my Sport. Works very well on my O.S 50 hyper delivering consistency and better fuel economy throughout the whole tank.

I shaved a little material away from the front servo tray lower webbing and eased the 82mg lower case body into the webbing.Found this very secure but used a little servo tape for extra security. The vibration isolation is poor using this method but I have had no problems as yet and its neat and easy.

As far as setting yp just make sure the servo centre position is your normal needle setting and ensure you get as much range as possible fully lean to fully rich because on my O.S the carb smart will use the full range.

Well I have my Carbsmart up and running on my sport now. Here is a few photos of how it went in. I have only 2 short flights in since the install, so I cant really say how well its working on the YS yet. I do know that it is at least functioning as it should.
