Nothing from China as far as I know. I believe MA gets some bearings from Europe. As far as machining, MA cuts almost all of their own carbon. Machined parts are farmed out (Tim is VERY picky about quality) and anodized. Not sure where all of the machining is done (in Florida or not), but pretty sure it is all US.

ditto...haven't talked to Tim in years, but he used to be quite available and if memory is correct, he was pretty big on keeping it local if possible, and within the States if not. One reason why that was the only brand I flew for a long time. Their stuff didn't wear out, just broke when ya stuffed 'em.

Hi all
At this stage, MA are still loyal and all machining is done in the USA. They also cut all the carbon in house.

i purchased my first VMC from the machine shop that has for a very long time, and i believe still does the machine work for MA. it is a local shop and they are top notch. as a machinest and having a few different manufactures helis i can certainly say that there product is of the highest quality. only the Japanese have equal quality in my opinion but make no mistake, the Chinese and Ti's are coming as they recognize we demand quality and they have the ability to provide it, cheap.(now im wound up) and here is where id like to say if you give a crap about this great country you should pay the extra couple of bucks and buy American so we can continue to enjoy what we have for as long as possible. if you dont agree then get out. im done
