I'm getting 3 blinks when I plug in the lipo ... the servos are all responding, but I can't get anything out of the motor (I tried a 2nd and 3rd motor also, but same result).

Any suggestions?

Which radio? If its a Futaba you need to reverse channel #3.

Wow, that never even crossed my mind - I'll give it a try, thanks!

Did that work for you? And did you get it programmed to mode 4?

Nope - didn't work I tried using the jumper to reset it too, and still can't get past the three flashes. I think I'm running out of options... it's probably fried.

Well start with this, make sure the Futaba throttle channel (3) is reversed. Then make sure the endpoints are at 100 both ways. Also drop the throttle trim to 0 or down as far as it will go. The jumper shouldn't work because it's not acknowledging the stick position. I'll look at my book and see what the codes are for three flashes. Oh also make sure the black wire is in the correct position when you plug in the servo/esc lead (black usually goes to the outside on the upright RXs or away from the "J" tab)

Then try this, make sure the throttle trim is all the way down and then increase the throttle endpoints to the max both ways (120 or 140 I can't remember) and then try it again.

Are you getting 3 beeps or 3 flashes? If it's blinking three times that's the code for Over Temperature and should reset after the ESC has cooled down. I'm still thinking that it's not picking up the throttle stick position correctly. Try the above steps and let me know.

Thanks for the tips - I'll check to see where the throttle channel's endpoints are at on the Tx and play with that.

I'm getting three flashes and no beeps (my other Jazz's beep through the can when initializing)...

Since it can't be over-heated because it hasn't been run (?), could it be that it's just faulty? I thought I read somewhere on a forum that three flashes = bad ESC, but how could one know? I appreciate the help!

I took that three flashes code right out of the instruction manual for the Jazz. I have 2 40 amp and one 55 amp so I checked the books.

If this stuff doesn't work you may have to send it to Kontronics. You said you were using a 7C right?
