On saterday I stripped a maingear during flight on my swift 16.
I see that the 620 in the 10s version comes with a double maingear.
So naturally I'm thinking why not see if it will fit in a swift 16.
Has anybody done this already? It looks like there is plenty of room.
The double maingear is out of stock at heliworld. So just looking at the picture there doesn't apear to be any difference to to the std maingear. So I put 2 std maingears together and they look like the teeth match up fine. Is it maybye some spacers and longer screws that makes up the double gear kit and the gear is the same. I realize i will need the long pinion as well.

Yes it is possible with a little engineering to fit a double maingear to a swift 16. I just finshed mine .looks good.
