Yes, Sir that is a Kavan Jet Ranger. All Aluminum side frames. That particular machine unless flown on Spektrum or FASST is a lock out waiting to happen. These machines were actually in production the way you see it.

Thanks. I take it I should probably sell it. It appears to be 95% perfect with a brand new never fired OS 61. It has reciever and servos to. I do have spectrum. Should I just go for it?
Thanks for the help.

In my honest opinion. Not very beginner heli. As if you crash no parts are availible.

Don't let that stop you from flying! It would be cool if you did bring it to IRCHA for the Antique Gathering.

It's a "Ranger"...

Hey JC, Ranger, not Jet Ranger. That's Kavan's official name anyway.

JC is correct that that heli is a potential "glitch monster", considering its all-metal construction. I own a pair of them, not flown by me yet. I must warn about the assembly of this odd heli: There are NO anti-shake (Nyloc nuts) anywhere in the framework. The fan is heavy and will likely produce vibration in a quantity you couldn't begin to imagine. Unless every fastener is correctly Loctited and secured, it will shake itself apart. I don't know what Fritz (Kavan) was thinking...

So many heli's - too little time...
