Got Jet Fuel? Turbine Helicopters > SPH-5A

Tough to find info on this thing in the US aparently, or I don't know the right place to look. I have e-mailed jetcatusa and got no response. I need technical info, and there is next to none on thier website. I want a 2-stage, and am looking at that or the soon-to-be out wren 44 variant, but I like the gov. on the jetcat. Anyone have a better contact for info?

Thanks

JETCAT USA are pretty good, what is the technical info you want,

there are some on here who know a lot about the SPH5 2 stage jetcat

Failing that send an email to Roman at Jetcat HQ

helikopterturbine@t-online.de

edit - forgot to add, unsure if you are Bangor North Wales UK or Bangor USA, beware of the time difference... we roughly depending on East or West coast between 5 and 8 hrs difference..

The JetCat USA website is woefully outdated. And as you mentioned, damn near no info about anything heli related except the HP5/PHT3.

That said, Bob knows a lot about the SPH-5 and he can help you. Best thing to do is call.

Sorry, didn't realize there was a Bangor N. Wales, I am in the US.

Thanks for all the advice and info, I will just have to give a call. Was trying the internet/e-mail stuff, but looks like a phonecall is the way to go on this subject.

Call me crazy, but I am trying to develop a large, mostly custom, turbine (approx 2.5m rotor span) mechanics set-up to eventually be used as a test/demonstrator platform for some other ideas I have. The next year will have to be devoted strictly to design functions, as I will be deploying with the natl. guard soon, but I hope to have the mechanics ready for an engine by next summer/fall.

trunkmunki, May seem like an odd question, but why are you wanting to develop a mostly custom turbine with 2.5 metre rotor span
There are already helis, out there, which are flying and with turbines (your choice)and 2.5metre rotors

More for the exercise of doing it. I have some of my own ideas and want to try them, and the satisfaction of designing something yourself and seing it fly is a real high, though I understand your question.
