I'm using HS-65HB servo's and the new Hitec HG-5000 gyro.

Hey Brovic. Since you have the Beam and the 500 answer me this, would you say the beam feels like the 500 but has the super agility of a 450?? I am going to be getting a Beam myself VERY SOON, but I thought I would ask because you have both...

Curious to see the answer to this. You are comparing banana with apples... both delicious, but way different...

I'd say the Beam is as stable as the 500 when hovering, but rips 100x over on 3D capabilities. Its like a 450 on steroids IMO with a good motor.

I had to bump the throttle curve to 90% with the Scorpion 6 motor using the 10t pinion because it had so much power and was too ballistic.

beam me up

ya my one is bloody crazy too..
frightens the life out of me..
when i fly the rex600 after it the rex seems like it's flying in slow motion..

thumbs up for the beam for helping fly the bigger ones.

I smile, cause I've no idea what's going on.

Brian:

That is exactly what Justin uses Beam for. A preflight finger workout!

cool

Great it's not only me that noticed that then,
Flew a good few flights yesterday evening with beam and was under pressure with every single one.. had witness' to prove.

The 600, as hard as I could fly it, still seemed to be in slow motion, was excellent, recommend the "pre flightworkout" to everyone.

I smile, cause I've no idea what's going on.

I'm trying to convince my wife to let me get a second Beam E4 since for backup since they are sooo fun to fly.

Whats great about it is that you can push it to extremes, and if you crash it, no worry since the crash parts are so cheap.
