| Hey guys:
I have an Xcell gasser with a gy-501 gyro and 8417 digital servo. Last time out, I noticed that the tail is not rock solid in a hover even though the engine seemed to be smooth as silk.
It sort of moves back and forth a couple of degrees as opposed to staying put behind the heli. This is not to be confused of an engine hickup and a tail kick.
What do you think causes this and how can it be fixed? Is it vibration related? Then gyro sensor is mounted inverted on the bottom of the radio tray just in front of the gas tank.

P.S. I don't have the tail boom mounted servo, its inthe servo tray with the stock wire pushrod but with extra supports along the boom. However, I do have the upgraded gold tailrotor setup that comes with a 99se kit. |
