Okay , I just got me a new digi camera and I`m just trying to figure it out.
Here is a couple of pics of my EP8 EX with s9650 Futabas installed... The best servos that I have tried yet for the EP8.
Notice the V-paddles, they are awsome for cyclic and stability..

The camera I take my pictures with I got for my wife two years ago. I still use it like a point and shoot even though it will do so much more! Kinda like my helicopters!

This camera will only let you take 8 pics at a time unless you get one of those memory sticks or what ever they are called. That sux, I was thinking that I could at least get 20 or more pics at a time..
Maybe I`m doing something wrong???
The instructions are like a big novel.Too much reading for me...

I need to get new servos as one of my Futaba 3101s is creeping (man this crash was expensive) how did you get the 9650 to fit in the elevator position?

I just very carefully dremeled (cut) the frames to size and I used a 2.5mm tap to tap out the mounting holes in the 2mm frames , that way I would not need to use any back-up nuts on the mounting screws cause there is very little room around the main shaft for mounting the servos...

These s9650 servos are the best servos for the EP8 , none of the Hitecs can even compare to the s9650 , plus I am running them on 6 volts , awsome control and centering , you cannot stall these s9650`s like the HS-81/85 servos...

your pics are really helpful, Ive read alot about 9650s in the Lepton, Ive always wanted to try it out bec. I know they are great servos. The other servo im looking at is the JR DS3421SA. Digital 65oz/in. torque and .18sec speed with nylon gears. smaller than the 9650. its one of the most expensive micro servos out there.

Man , those JR DS3421SA servos are $80.00 bucks a piece.. That is just too much to pay for a mini servo...

Also check out the JR DS368BB. They fit in the frame without mod. & I'm running them with a 6V pack. So sometimes the voltage is higher.

I don't have the experience you guys have to compare them, as they are the only ones I've used.
