Kyosho Caliber 30 & 60 - Concept - Nexus > Which Paddles Are You Using With Your Caliber 5?

I am thinking of "upgrading" my paddles from stock, and was wondering what has worked well for your Cal 5? I have taken the weights out of the stock paddles and that has helped a lot, but was wondering if a set of Stubs or V Blade paddles would even be better. I have heard that the green Rappy paddles work, but I just can't bring myself to put those on my Caliber
Thanks,
Brent

Greenies TT work good and look nice with lime fuel lines. I've seen a blue ones at heliproz that can match the Caliber scheme color very well too.

I have the Radix full blade set-up on my new Caliber5. Radix Mains, Radix tails, and Radix super stubz. Have not flown it yet.
The paddles and tails are super light.
I've used the greenies with good success until one ripped off the flybar in midflite. Yes a heli can fly with one paddle, but very wobbly.
My present C-5 has the stock paddles with the weight removed.

I use align carbon paddles with raptor flybar. Stability was not compromise, its very quick and responsive.

I got the Blue TT, think they looks a bit better then the greenies I also got a lot better cyclic response now.

I am also waiting for my 600 Radix to arrive, but they are out of stock at Curtis.

I like your "Curtis Youngblood Edition Caliber 5"
My Caliber is turning into a "Youngblood Edition" also, with Radix main & tail blades and a MP5 pipe. The Super Stubz are on order.

The swash is from a Caliber4 and yes, I'm still in the process of putting this new Caliber5 together.
All brand new. Hyper50 with revolution tuned pipe, #4-9252 servos, GY611/9256, RevMax, and Radix all around. I'm gonna speed up the cyclic rate with the ball positioning to the outer holes for the pitch links. Should be a ripper. Oh yeah, the 15 tooth 9.1 gear ratio upgrade.

I will say this, the stock Kyosho Caliber5 carbon mains are excellent flying blades. They auto very well too.
