e-Hirobo SRB Quark - Lepton - XRB Coaxial > 425mm MAH Blades - New outlook

I just wanted to go on record stating that I had a previous bad experience with a pair of 425mm MAH blades for my Lepton/TRex500. These must have been an old pair of blades. After discussing with Jeff at MRC, I sent my old pair of blades back and they sent me a new set. The new set is 59g per blade (1g less than my SAB blades). These blades did not exhibit the same rotor disk loading and bogging during hard 3D (which I had at one time attributed to the Lepton and then the blades). These blades are great. Tracked online immediately, felt stiff and responsive. The cyclic may have been a little slow. I still need to put it through its paces but definitely a different blade than the 2 pairs I had previously.

Thanks Jeff.

I switched back to 425 MAH on mine..... It's the old pair I got Last summer..... But it may have been the updated version...... It's lighter than the 400 MAH I've been running....... My experience with the cyclic is different from yours though...... Mine got stupid fast cyclic response..... How I could tell, is that, there's basically 4 people that flies T500 where I go..... I get to fly them...... My Lepton is set up for only 6-7° cylic, while their 500 is set for 9-10° cyclic....... My Lepton still respond quicker on the cyclic....... I have 425 Align blade on its way here....... I will find out soon how these two blades will compare against each other.......

I have to agree on the quality of MAH blades though....... CG's perfectly match and perfectly balnced as well...... I never have a pair that needs balancing.......
