| So I finally tested mine and found that it was well over 6 volts.
Are there any electrical engineers, or anyone else that knows a bit about electronics? Is this a useful test? I thought it was, but now I'm not sure. Does the voltage go up if there is extra resistance to the motors? I figure that the motor speed is determined by how much juice is fed to it, in a brushed motor anyway.
For lack of better understanding, based on my results compared with the suggested volts, I've decided that everything before the motors is working as expected. If this is correct, it means there is a mechanical problem with the head.
Upon closer inspection of the head, it appears that there is a very slight wobble in the inner shaft for the top rotor blades. I've ordered a replacement and am waiting for it now. Seems someone must have dropped this on its head or something. |
