Im curious about the switch covers too.

Ive seen folks use fuel lines on switches in different colors, but that makes the switches rather bulky.

BTW - i think the "red rocket" stays !

i really wish someone would make a sweet looking little cap for the 14mz. the little rubber plug that Futaba sells with the 12FG looks pretty bogus to me. someone has to be able to make something better than what futaba came up with.

A friend is machining one for me out of aluminum, we'll see how it goes.

So far i have made the (basic) sketch for him, feel free to use it in any way you like.



Note: the slot on top is for the piece to be twisted in with a flat screw driver.

Here is my Butt plug

Here is my solution.

I went down to the local hardware store and found this neat little pipe cap cost me the equivalent of 20cents, fits perfectly.

Sorry pictures are a bit fizzy (might look better if you look at them in my gallery) but you can see its very sexy and actually you would swear it was part of the radio.

Now I just need to get the balance right on the strap.

I have 6 more Butt Plugs

I have just picked up six more while driving past this morning.

If you cannot find them in your local engineering supply shop (I am sure they are available worldwide) send me your postal addresses [use the PM function] and I will send you one.

Hopefully they will go airmail in an std airmail envelope as they are 12mm wide.
