e-Century Hummingbird - Swift > Thrust bgearings for metal blade grips.

I have a quick question for those of you who have upgraded your Swift to metal main blade grips. I understand that the thrust bearings for the metal grips are different than for the plastic grips and that they are 13.8mm. Is this correct? I just want to be sure before I put them in.

Also, is the metal spacer from the plastic grips that fits between the radial bearing and the thrust bearing used with the metal grips?

Thanks.

Yes you need the 13.8mm thrust washers, they fit down into the recess without binding. As for the rest of the assembly it is as the plastic version.

Thanks Guys. I was pretty sure I was on the right track but with all the problems I've had with this kit so far I wanted to be sure.

I'm familiar with Carrolton since I go through there on the way to Alabama now and then.

I live in Thomaston which is about 40 miles south of Atlanta and fly at the Georgia Jets club. http://www.georgiajets.org/

Are you strictly helis or do you fly planks too?
