I have a good reliable source. She works in TWF Hobby and she told me today this:

we have stopped the manufacter line for this two heli (E-Smart Plastic and E-Smart Metal) but not for the G-Smart.

There is not enough pilots buying it. So they decided to stop it with the new coming of the new Esky 900.

Another 600 Size helicopter will appear in late 2008.

How do you like these news?

i know countless people who had trex's and when they bought the mini titan they became surprised seems like mini titan is probably the best of the best

The TREX sucks the mini is plastic junk and Esky is just cheap chinese crap. Egaui makes the only good heli.

tryan02 the mini titan Se is all aluminium =) im not sure about the frame if it is aluminium or carbon. well esky 900 is almost there be patient maybe it will be a bomb =)

I was just being sarcastic UT I dont really care what you fly as long as you fly. There all good just the little micros the BCPP and cp2 left me with a bad taste. It should be a law not to sell these little 3D micros as trainers but at the time it was the only cheap (initial cost) way to get into helis. The LHS would tell you a TREX can be bought for $1000 RTF or $250 for a micro. So of course a lot of us got the CP micros and fought them till the credit cards were maxed out. Thats where a lot of the micro hatred comes from on here. Newbies trying to learn on a heli 3 or 4 times as quirky as the king and my stock radio glitched after 2 months making it even harder. I now have my TREX setup quicker than my king so I can imagine I could fly a BCPP again now I may pick one of them up off fleebay instead of a HBFP. Oh and UT the frame is still plastic on the mini I assume because of the way it can be disassembled not sure though.

I would still like to have an esmart to bomb around with, but I think parts will be an issue in a year or two... That is the big problem buying a newcomer to the market brand heli. If it doesn't sell big they just stop making it along with the parts supply....

Why do they call it a 900 when it's really a 500? So you think your getting more heli than you actually get?? Align has a 700N coming out that will be the big seller soon and then maybe I'll pick up a 500 cheap. That is how I ended up with the 600E this year... guys were dumping them to fund their new 500's....

No idea, TWF Hobby/Esky has different names about the size of their heli.

Sure i will get more heli than i have but not for now. Maybe by the end of 2008 or in the beginning of 2009. I would like to get that esky 900, 500 size helicopter. But i'm sure the electronics like, servos, motor, esc and baterry would be very expensive. For the spare parts i'm sure they will be cheap for this helicopter.
I might get a honey bee King 2 again when xtreme releases the Carbon frame 65usd and the new flybar hub center

That 700 Sure will be expensive. I can't wait to see demonstrations from Alan Szabo and Jason Krause.

Same with motorcycles it can be tough to get parts for an 1995 honda but harley hasnt changes too much over the years you can get 1985 parts off the shelf

Harley will never go out of style too many people live the Harley lifestyle all there lives... but helis come and go....
EDIT No I have no plans of selling any of my 450's I like to fly them anytime and anyplace I want. They are the perfect size heli for flying anywhere.....
