I am about to pick up a pretty nice competitor that has been setting in a friends basement for the last 20 years. no electronics, no motor, pro head , wood blades, canopy is rough and will have to replace . tail boom reeds replaced from bad mounting of wood parts and wood tail parts need replaced .no damage it has never been crashed . It has an extra new gear and a brand new set of side panels . with this info I would like some realistic ideas of what this heli is worth? it will take some work to get it in the air but all the bearings are smooth no rust on it. it probably had less than 10 hovering flights on it total . What do you guys think would be a fair price to give him for it ? He left it up to me and wouldnt price it , and I dont know. I am looking for ideas here as I want to be fair to him.

I agree with JC...I have bought a few competitors over the past couple of years. Market price these days seems to be somewhere around $200 to $350 or so depending on condition and what's included.

And of course, if you want to restore and fly it....
